This story does not contains spoilers for The Lincoln Lawyer Season Two, Part One.

Do me a favor today. Think back to the olden times—roundabout June 2020. (Maybe you'd rather not. That's OK! Go enjoy your weekend.) Netflix announced that Ozark's fourth season would be its last... but it would drop in two halves, roughly three months apart: Part One and Part Two. Huh?

The streamer that popularized TV's drop-every-episode-at-once-and-you-can-deal-with-it method seemingly realized there is more currency in keeping their stories in the conversation longer than a week. In the years since, Netflix series like The Witcher and Stranger Things have turned to the good ol' Part One and Part Two model. And if you keep up on Netflix's escapades, you'll know that another one of its popular shows, The Lincoln Lawyer, returned for a second season last week. The series caught back up with Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), an attorney who works out of—you guessed it—his Lincoln. So, you're probably asking: is The Lincoln Lawyer Season Two split in two parts, or do you have to wait another year or two for Season Three?

Well, you're in luck, friend. The Lincoln Lawyer has been, split into two parts, each five episodes long. Season Two, Part Two, will debut on August 3, 2023. You can even watch a trailer for the next batch of episodes—streaming above—where our man Mickey is back in action.
