If you’re one of the 76 million people who watched the Seinfeld finale—and promptly threw their remote at the television—don’t worry, I understand your rage. The last episode was... inconclusive, to say the absolute least. Thankfully, life is full of second chances, and the Seinfeld crew may get one soon.

Over the weekend, Jerry Seinfeld seemingly teased the show's revival at a standup set in Boston. Per Variety, the comedian said he knew a “little secret” about Seinfeld's dissatisfying end. “Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending,” he said. “It hasn’t happened yet. Just [know] what you are thinking about, Larry [David] and I have also been thinking about. So, you’ll see.”

The Seinfeld finale premiered in 1998, following a nine-year stint on NBC. During the episode, Jerry, Elaine, George, and Kramer are put on trial for cracking jokes while they witness a mugging. Characters they’ve wronged in the past are then invited to testify against them, and ultimately, the Seinfeld crew wind up in jail. Years later, Seinfeld admitted that he wasn’t proud of the episode. During a 2017 interview at The New Yorker Festival, he said, “I sometimes think we really shouldn’t have done it. There was a lot of pressure on us at the time to do one big last show, but big is always bad in comedy.”

So, what’s next? Well, the comedian did not reveal any concrete plans, but Variety reports that a Seinfeld revival could be tied to the next season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. A Jerry and George reunion? That sounds good to me!
