Tom Holland Loves Axel Arigato Dice Lo Trainers. Heres Why

There’s a unique joy that comes with finding a pair of shoes that work with the bulk of your wardrobe.

You know the type. They look great, feel even better. You start swapping out tops and trousers to form refreshed outfits – lo and behold it still works, and your real-life problems are pushed to the back of your mind. Paolo Nutini’s New Shoes suddenly resonates on a deeper level. Life feels easy!

Well, it seems that Tom Holland is still in the midst of that fresh-out-the-box euphoria, because the 28-year-old can’t stop wearing his Axel Arigato trainers.

While he’s been starring as Romeo in the new production of the Shakespearean tragedy at the Duke of York's Theatre, the Spiderman: No Way Home actor has been continually donning a pair of Dice Lo’s as he leaves each night.

At first, it was just a classic white leather pair styled them with anything from a black tracksuit to smarter, pleated trousers and knitted polos. A cup of tea would also accessorise the look on some occasions, too.

But this past weekend proved that he likes the style enough to invest in another pair, opting for a new colourway with a chocolate heel and contrasting panels.

For those unfamiliar with the brand, Axel Arigato is a decade-old Swedish streetwear powerhouse that’s been worn by the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Affleck and Justin Bieber, to name a few. But why does the Kingston-born actor love these ‘kicks in particular?

“Tom has been wearing Axel Arigato for a while now – not only do they offer such versatile styles and shapes which are great for press, but they transfer easily into his day-to-day life and personal wardrobe,” says his stylist, Crystalle Cox, over email. “The Dice Lo trainers are an easy-to-style silhouette that work with most looks due to their neutrality. They’re ideal as he generally wears more neutral, wearable styles.”

Want a pair of your own? Head to the brand’s website to cop yourself a style. You won’t regret it.
