The first season of Netflix’s Love Is Blind aired in 2019, a time we fondly recall as being pre-pandemic. Eons ago. Long enough ago for you to have completely wiped it from your memory, save for Jessica’s wine-drinking dog, who is impossible to forget. You had probably forgotten, actually, what was so fascinating about the show in the first place. (You had definitely forgotten that it is hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey.) But when Season Two first aired, it all came rushing back. The new batch of episodes was as drama-filled, cringey, and impossible to look away from as the first. Hats off to the Netflix casting team.

The show follows a cast of singles—based in Chicago, this season—as they blind date in pods and get engaged without ever laying eyes on one another. After they meet, go on honeymoons, and spend a few weeks living together in Netflix-rented shared apartments in Chicago, the couples must then choose whether or not they are ready to get married. But they can only decide once they are already at the altar, surrounded by friends and family, in full wedding garb. It’s a pretty high-stakes risk, which is why it makes for such wild TV.

PATRICK WYMORE/NETFLIX
And now, with the wedding finale landed on Netflix on February 25, it's all over. And for most participants in what Netflix loves to call the "experiment," it did not wrap up well! Here's where the cast is now according to their Instagrams, where they can officially—for the first time since filming began—disclose their current relationship statuses. Spoilers for the finale below.
Shake
Despite this couple-y looking Instagram, Shake was left high and dry at the altar by Deepti, who realized she deserved better. Good for her, because she probably would have left him anyway after watching back all the awful things he had to say about her in his interviews. The Internet agrees—just take a look at the comments section on any of his photos. We can't say for sure, but it appears that Shake is still single. (We wish him the best of luck trying to date after he said his beautiful fiancé reminded him of his aunt on the second most popular show in the country on Netflix.)
Danielle
Yesterday, we'd have said that Danielle and Nick were the least likely of all the couples to go through with their wedding, for reasons such as they were seemingly unable to get through a conversation without arguing. But...they did! The target of much online vitriol, Danielle has been speaking out about her mental health struggles on her Instagram since the show began. And according to her Instagram stories Friday, the couple is still together. All the best to them! We hope Nick's table is still in one piece, and that he's enjoying his new closet of corn costumes.
Deepti
No choice but to stan. There's no sign of a new boyfriend (yet!) on Deepti's Instagram, but we hope she's happy. We also hope she gets a laugh watching Shake overcompensate to his guests after her stunning rejection.
Jarette
Jarette is a 32-year-old barber, sneaker dealer, investor, and podcast host, according to his Instagram bio. The only thing about his dual proposal strategy was that, y’know, when you’re being filmed for a TV show, everyone will eventually get to watch it back. We wonder what his wife (!) Iyanna thought while seeing that.
Iyanna
A surprising "yes" came from Iyanna, who had a good amount of reservations leading up to her wedding. Congrats to the happy couple! But in an Instagram story on February 25, she said we'll "have to wait until the reunion to find out if [her] and Jarette are still together," so TBD on if this marriage lasted.
Kyle
Determined was one word to describe Kyle, a 29-year-old glazier, on his Love Is Blind journey. Working awfully hard to fit a square peg in a round hole. Blink if you also got Mark/Jessica déjà vu. From the looks of his IG, Kyle is still single today.
Mallory
Our hearts broke for Mallory in the finale, who was incredibly mature and understanding when Sal said he just wasn't ready to get married yet. It's not clear if they are still dating (and waiting longer than four weeks to consider marriage), but we wish both Mallory and Sal all the best.
Natalie
The true shock of the season, Natalie and Shayne seemed the best suited for marriage of all the couples. We can't tell yet, but we hope they made it work after their heartbreaking altar experience.
Nick
We read somewhere that it's good luck to sweat through your pants on your wedding day.
Sal
The 31-year-old executive assistant who proves that serenading works offered a mature, emotional "no" to Mallory at the altar. The couple ended off agreeing to a date, though, so all hope is not lost.
Shaina
Every series needs its villain. The 32-year-old hairstylist, who got engaged to Kyle in the pods, was looking for a godly man, which Kyle was not. As of the finale, there's no sign of a new love interest on her Instagram either.
Shayne
When you can’t see who you’re talking to and you accidentally mix up the two girls you are simultaneously pursuing, some might learn a lesson and next time ask who it is before beginning a personal conversation. Not Shayne. Shayne lives on the edge. He came back from those near-fatal errors to win Natalie over, but their love story came to a shocking end at the altar. Whether or not Shayne has given Natalie another chance after her "no" on their wedding day is yet to be seen in the reunion episode, which lands next Friday March 4.
